Description:

The Committee is responsible for providing oversight and coordination of continuing education offered virtually, which currently includes the Home Study Courses (HSC) and webinars. The Committee will also be involved with the buildout of the new APTA Geriatrics online learning microsite. The committee is composed of 3-5 subject matter experts and is led by a committee chair that serves a one-year term. The committee will typically meet virtually 6 times a year.
Responsibilities:
• Attend meetings.
• Recruit future committee members.
• Actively engaged in and contribute to committee work.
• Participate in the planning and coordinating of yearly online educational programming (which aligns with Academy’s strategic plan and annual budget).
• Recommend projects that support the APTA Geriatrics mission/vision/values.
