Call for study participants: APTA has been asked to nominate CPG experts who have contributed to the development of CPGs in the past five years.
"Reproducibility of Systematic Reviews with Meta-Analysis: Relevance to CPGs": In partnership with Guidelines International Network (GIN), this study funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research is aiming to:
1) Assess the perceptions about examining the reproducibility of systematic reviews included in CPGs of experts involved in their development.
2) Assess the methodological quality, reporting transparency and reproducibility of a sample of systematic reviews included in CPGs.
3) Assess whether the methodological quality, reporting transparency, and reproducibility results change the assessment of the CPGs recommendations by experts involved in their development.
Study participants will be invited to:
1) Complete a pre-assessment survey (~20 minutes)
2) Review a one-page summary of reproducibility assessments for a systematic review used in a guideline that they have worked on (~10 minutes)
3) Complete a post-assessment survey (~10 minutes)
