Volunteer Opportunity Details

The U.S. Department of Labor is updating its O*NET database-the primary source of occupational information used by employers, policymakers, educators, and job seekers-to ensure it reflects the reality of PTs and PTAs, and APTA needs your help. 

We are seeking volunteers to share their expertise and ensure our profession is represented accurately. Selected participants will complete a set of questionnaires about their work (example here: Sample Questionnaire). All information provided is confidential, and participation is voluntary. Here are the current descriptions for PTs and PTAs. 

This is a unique chance to influence how physical therapy is understood at a national level-by shaping the data used for workforce planning, research, and policy.
