Signup Deadline: 09-17-2024
Starts: 09-30-2024
Ends: 11-18-2024
Location: Online Opportunity

Description:

2 Volunteers needed to help develop a CPG+ on the Hip Pain and Movement Dysfunction Associated with Nonarthritic Hip Joint Pain:  A Clinical Practice Guideline Revision. We need a member who does research in this area OR a PT who has experience in the management of Non-Arthritic Hip Pain and Movement Dysfunction.

A CPG+ is a translational tool designed to facilitate the use of clinical practice guidelines into physical therapy practice.  The CPG+ is disseminated on-line through the PTNow website.   The process of developing a CPG+ is about an 8 hour commitment involving appraisal of the CPG using the AGREE II tool, development of a bullet list of highlights and recommendations included in the CGP, and then a final 1-2 hour conference call with the CPG+ team (usually 3-4 individuals) to finalize the product.  Most of the work involved in developing the CPG+ is independent work, with the exception of the final conference call.  Typically, you have about 6 weeks to complete the work.   To see an example of a CPG+, go to the following: https://www.apta.org/patient-care/evidence-based-practice-resources/cpgs/heel-pain-plantar-fasciitis
