APTA Student Assembly - National Student Conclave (NSC) Project Committee Chair

Signup Deadline: 03-15-2019
Starts: 04-01-2019
Ends: 11-02-2019

Description:

Application Deadline: March 15, 2019

The Student Assembly Board of Directors (SABoD) is looking for student members interested in serving as the chair of the National Student Conclave (NSC) Project Committee. The NSC Project Committee chair will lead a committee of 7-9 members who will collaborate with APTA staff and an assigned member of the SABoD to score submissions for educational content that will be selected
for NSC 2019 programming, to help staff develop ideas for using gamification to enhance engagement and interaction through the conference application, to promote NSC, and to possibly coordinate with the Student Assembly Community Service PC to plan an event during NSC in Albuquerque. Chairs can expect to devote between 3-7 hours/week performing committee-related activities.

Mission: The work of this committee should align with the Student Assembly's goal to engage students through connecting and networking at National Student Conclave. This committee will collaborate with APTA staff to develop a student-centered conference that enables attendees to experience the opportunities, support, and community that exists within the physical therapy profession. Project Committee members are also asked to review and score content submissions, and to be available to assist with developing and implementing various events and opportunities for students to participate in at National Student Conclave.

Interested individuals must apply by the deadline in order to be considered for this position. We anticipate more than one application for this position, and only one will be appointed.
