Description:

The Council of Section Presidents is a community for section/academy presidents. The council is seeking a current section/academy president to serve a 1-year term as chair. 

Requirements as Chair:
  • Must be a current APTA Section/Academy President

  • Must be an APTA member in good standing

Responsibilities: 
  • Facilitate council meetings  
  • Lead efforts to foster communication and networking among section presidents and APTA
  • Partner with the Board liaison and the APTA staff liaison to the council to provide regular updates to the APTA Board

Volunteers Needed:

1 (1 open slot)

Experience Required:

2 to 3 years volunteer experience
