APTA ALI PT Proud Special Interest Group is seeking volunteers for all committees.
Qualification: Active ALI Member

The committees and their responsibilities are:
Advocacy
- Develop advocacy plans and goals for the advancement of LGBTQIA+ policies within APTA and related to physical therapists’ role in local, state, and national legislation and regulations.
Membership
- Assist with onboarding new members and maintaining a roster of PT Proud membership
- Ensures that the PT Proud SIG bylaws are current and in accordance with the ALI and APTA bylaws.
Nominating
- Submits a slate of qualified candidates for each PT Proud SIG office and for the Nominating Committee
Programming
- Solicits, organizes and promotes programming relevant to the PT Proud SIG at the Combined Sections Meeting (CSM) and other purposes throughout the year.
Publicity and Networking
- Promotes the PT Proud SIG and its mission and vision through publicity and networking efforts.
Research
- Promotes awareness of PT Proud SIG-related research, publications, and funding opportunities, and facilitates the submission of PT Proud SIG-related articles to ALI publications.
