The APTA Health Systems Network is seeking three steering group members and one co-chair to serve one-year and two-year terms, respectively.
The APTA Health Systems Network is a community for stakeholders associated with major health systems who have a special interest in influencing the development of innovative models of care and outcomes measurements, improving coordination across the continuum of care, promoting the value of physical therapists in major health systems, and developing or adopting best practices by such systems.
A major health system is an organization that consists of an acute care hospital and a combination of other post-acute care facilities in the continuum of care. The organization may offer care in a variety of integrated clinical settings, such as acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, home care, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient clinics.
Requirements:
• Must be a member of the APTA Health Systems Network
• Must be an APTA member in good standing
• An interest in developing networking opportunities and facilitating information sharing
• A CV is required with your application
Responsibilities of the Co-chair:
• Support chair in developing meeting agendas and networking efforts
• Transition into the chair position in year two of term.
Responsibilities of the Steering Group:
• Support chair and co-chair in leading and engaging the network
Please note that the term for co-chair is Jan. 1, 2025 - Dec. 31, 2026. The term for steering group is Jan. 1, 2025 - Dec. 31, 2025.
