The Secretary is responsible for collaborating with the SNP SIG Chairs to create and maintain an organized environment that will facilitate fluid development and implementation of SNP SIG programs and initiatives.
In collaboration with the other SNP SIG leaders, the Secretary:
Schedules the monthly SIG meetings and confirms who will be in attendance
Organizes and distributes the agenda and keeps meeting minutes
Assists other SNP SIG leadership in scheduling virtual events throughout the year.
Maintains a current SNP SIG and leadership roster.
Attends regular SNP leadership meetings
Must be willing to advocate based on the best interests of the members of the SNP SIG
Can be either PT/PTA new professional, defined as someone in their first 5 years of PT practice OR student PT/PTA
Term: 2 years, with no more than 2 consecutive terms
Reports to: SNP SIG Chair
