The Secretary is responsible for collaborating with the SNP SIG Chairs to create and maintain an organized environment that will facilitate fluid development and implementation of SNP SIG programs and initiatives. In collaboration with the other SNP SIG Chairs, the Secretary: Schedules the monthly SIG meetings and confirms who will be in attendance Organizes and distributes the agenda and keeps meeting minutes Assists other SNP SIG leadership in scheduling virtual events throughout the year. Maintains a current SNP SIG and leadership roster

to Brigid Griffin, SNPSIG@pediatricapta.org . The SNP Chair is responsible for fostering the development of member driven projects and events by supporting the SNP leadership team. The SNP Chair position is held by a PT or PTA new professional, defined as someone in their first 5 years of PT practice. In collaboration with all SNP leaders and the Leadership Development Director: Represents the interests of students and new professionals at monthly Board of Directors Meetings Leads monthly SNP board meetings. Meets with the Leadership Development Director monthly to discuss SIG business Act as a SNP board liaison to the SNP Mentor leadership team
The Communications Chair is a member of the SNP SIG Leadership Team. Specific roles and responsibilities include: Responsible for SNP related social media on the APTA Pediatrics Social Media platforms Works with SIG Chair and Vice Chair to find creative ways to increase student and new professional attendance at conferences (AC and CSM) Works with Education Chair to develop material to use for advertisement of pediatric physical therapy educational opportunities Develops, markets and leads Podcast committee Exhibit skills such as excellence in communication, innovation, and creativity, enthusiastic about the pediatric career and APTA involvement

In collaboration with other SNP SIG Chairs, the Vice Chair Organize and host SNP mixers at both APTA Pediatrics Annual Conference and CSM Collaborate with the SNP Chair in running monthly meetings if they are unavailable or in attending APTA Pediatric Leadership/Board meetings when the SNP SIG Chair is unavailable Create and organize new and engaging opportunities for students Assist in running the SNP SIG Journal Club Participate in monthly SNP SIG Meetings
The Liaison chair is responsible for maintaining connections between SNP representatives across all APTA Pediatric SIG’s and committees to create a collaborative environment that promotes discussion and execution of SNP SIG goals. In collaboration with the other SNP SIG Chairs, the Liaison: Schedule and execute quarterly meetings with all SNP representatives Disseminate resources within the SNP network Cultivate a connection with Leadership Development within APTA Pediatrics Maintain a current contact list of SNP representatives across the SIGs and committees within APTA Pediatrics
