Description:

APTA is seeking members with diverse clinical subject matter expertise on the subject of Long COVID to represent APTA at a multi-disciplinary, 2-day meeting (May 16-17, 2024), co-sponsored by APTA and the Office of Long COVID Research and Practice, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Some asynchronous, pre-event work (such as reviewing relevant reports) will be requested. APTA will provide reimbursement for travel and lodging.

Summit participants will: 

o   Contribute to productive discussions with medical and rehabilitation providers about the management of individuals with Long COVID.

o   Consider individual patients, clinicians, healthcare systems, and public health issues.

o   Develop a consensus statement regarding role of rehabilitation in the management of individuals with Long COVID.
