Description:

APTA Geriatrics is seeking volunteers to join the Movement System Diagnosis Task Force, who will work together to achieve the following goals:

(1)   Develop expertise in the current movement system discussion by reviewing current literature, presentations, and other relevant documents,

(2)   Review the need for geriatric-specific movement system diagnoses in light of the current work across multiple academies, groups, and;

(3)   Recommend next steps to the Board of Directors regarding the scope and role of APTA Geriatrics on the movement system diagnosis discussion, specific to geriatric physical therapist practice.
