Student Recruitment - San Diego Festival of Science and Engineering

We are looking for two to four volunteers to join APTA staff members at the San Diego Festival of Science and Engineering EXPO Day, Saturday, March 7, 2020 in San Diego, CA at PETCO Park at the the APTA booth.  According to the festival website “EXPO Day is the Festival’s signature event and in 2019 more than 23,000 children, parents, and STEM enthusiasts attended taking advantage of the interactive booths centered around STEM.” This will be a fun day, APTA will have an interactive booth, and our goal this year is to speak with and interact with as many prospective students (K-12), guardians, and teachers/advisors to tell them about the amazing profession of physical therapy.  If you are available to volunteer all day or for one of the shifts (9a – 1p or 1p to 6p) please sign up no later than Tuesday, March 3, 2020.  We are looking for PT/PTA students, PT/PTA faculty, and/or licensed PTs/PTAs.
