Volunteer Opportunity Details

On the 100th anniversary of our association's founding, we opened APTA's new national headquarters, APTA Centennial Center. Our new home embodies our profession’s values and is a culmination of generations of bold leadership and impeccable stewardship.

We’re looking for APTA members to submit photography that could be featured throughout the building, welcoming fellow members for generations to come. Photography may also be used in APTA’s communications.

The photography should:

• Feature a member engaged in improving someone’s health, working in an education setting, participating in community service, or attending an APTA event. Review examples of on-brand APTA photography.
• Be full color with clean, non-complicated backgrounds if possible.
• Show the face of at least one individual (patient care images should focus on the whole person, as opposed to closeups of body parts).
• Be landscape (horizontal) orientation.

Contest rules:

• Photos must be high resolution and submitted using this online form by July 31. All participants in your photos must complete and sign this waiver or you must have the necessary permission from participants before submitting your photography.
• The photos must be submitted by an APTA member.
• Members are allowed to enter up to five (5) photographs.

APTA is giving away APTA Centennial Journals to the first 50 members who submit photos that meet the contest requirements by the deadline.

Photography winners will be notified if selected.
