The Student Assembly Board of Directors (SABoD) seeks student PT and PTA members to run for the offices of Student Assembly President, Vice President, Secretary, Director of Communications, Director of Membership, Director of SPTA Relations, SPT Delegate, Nominating Committee Chair-Elect (a two-year position), or Nominating Committee Member. The Student Assembly Board of Directors represents all student members of the APTA and serves to foster the growth and development of the Student Assembly. See position descriptions here (
SA_Position_Descriptions.pdf). Candidates will be slated in late August, and elections will take place on November 2 during National Student Conclave in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The submission deadline is July 1.
Interested individuals can apply by clicking Apply Today to submit a candidate application. Candidates should also include an electronic headshot produced on a high-resolution camera, a curriculum vitae, and a candidate statement that describes in 250 words or less why you intend to run for office, what your strengths are, and what you hope to achieve as a member of the Student Assembly Board of Directors.
Candidates will submit a self-nomination as part of this online application process. Additional nominations can be submitted by any current APTA member (
