The Early Intervention SIG leadership team has an opening for a student or new professional to assist the team in providing a forum for those practicing and interested in early intervention to confer, meet, share resources, and promote high standards of practice. The individual will be mentored by the team in their new role and will be instrumental in communicating with the Student and New Professional Subcommittee of the APTA Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy. Roles and responsibilities include the following: 

• Contribute SNP perspective during SIG meetings and activities
• Collaborate with the other SIG leaders to develop strategies to recruit and retain SNP members
• Regularly communicate and collaborate with SNP SIG Liaison Chair to gather and disseminate information relevant to students and new professional members across the academy
• Attend the majority (>75%) of SIG business meetings at conference meetings, SNP leadership meetings, and/or virtual event
