APTA National - Write for the APTA Student Blog (The Pulse)

Starts: 03-06-2019
Location: Online Opportunity

Like to write? Have a story to tell? APTA is looking for contributors to its student blog, The Pulse.

The Pulse blog provides content relevant to current PT and PTA students. Topics range from classroom and clinical experiences to social and interprofessional issues. New and original ideas and topics are always welcome.

Word counts are approximately 500 - 2,000 words, and the tone is typically conversational.

If you are interested in contributing, please click "apply now" and submit a topic idea and brief description (please do not submit a completed article). Staff will contact you regarding next steps if your topic is a good fit for an upcoming post.

  • You must be an APTA member in good standing. You do not have to be a student to write content for students.
  • Submitting an idea does not guarantee that you will be invited to write for the blog, and APTA does not need to provide a reason for failing to select your topic.
  • APTA will determine when to publish selected blog posts, which become copyrighted property of APTA.
  • Submissions that have been previously published elsewhere will not be accepted (original content only).
