Description:

The Student Assembly Board of Directors (SABoD) seeks student PT and PTA members to run for the offices of Student Assembly President, Vice President, Secretary, Director of Communications, Director of Membership, Director of SPTA Relations, SPT Delegate, Nominating Committee Chair-Elect (a two-year position), or Nominating Committee Member. The Student Assembly Board of Directors represents all student members of the APTA and serves to foster the growth and development of the Student Assembly. Position descriptions are listed on the student elections page. Candidates will be slated in late July. The 2021 electronic ballot will be open to all APTA student members October 7 - November 6. 

The submission deadline is June 7 (11:59 p.m. EST).

Interested individuals can apply by clicking the Apply Today button below to submit a candidate application that includes six questions to help us gain a better understanding of who you are as a candidate. The application also contains space for you to craft a candidate statement that describes in 250 words or less why you intend to run for office, what your strengths are, and what you hope to achieve as a member of the Student Board. Candidates should also include an electronic headshot produced on a high-resolution camera and a copy of your resume.


Candidates will submit a self-nomination as part of this online application process. Additional nominations can be submitted by any current APTA member using this form.
