Description:

HOSA Future Health Professionals is a global student-led organization (middle/high school and college) recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Department of Health and Human Services and several federal and state agencies. HOSA’s mission is to empower HOSA-Future Health Professionals to become leaders in the global health community, through education, collaboration, and experience. HOSA actively promotes career opportunities in the health industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA’s goal is to encourage all health science instructors and students to affiliate and be actively involved in the HSE-HOSA Partnership.

HOSA’s Virtual International Leadership Conference is the highlight of the year for every HOSA member and advisors and includes educational workshops, exhibits, seminars, workshops, networking, fun, excitement, and recognition for HOSA members!

Volunteers Needed:
This conference also includes competitive events focused on leadership, professional skills, and technical skills. During this conference students will compete virtually in the Physical Therapy competition (which falls under the Health Professions Division). These competitive events are designed to motivate HOSA members to study, work hard, and achieve a high standard of excellence in a variety of leadership and skill disciplines.

We are looking for 6 current physical therapist or third year physical therapy students to serves as judges for the Physical Therapy competition to evaluate performance. Judging will take place on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 10:30a - 3:00p (10:30a - 12:00n will be judging orientation and 12:00n - 3:00p is when the judging will take place.) Judges must commit for the full time listed (5 hours).

  • All competition information will be provided to judges before the competition (during orientation), as well as scoring guidelines.
  • Judging will take place virtually over Zoom.

We know this is a bit of time commitment but we truly appreciate you contributing to shaping the future of the PT profession.
