Description:

APTA is once again a sponsor at this year's National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) Super H 5K Run Walk & Wheel.  This event is a great way to support children and adults with physical disabilities to pursue healthy, active lifestyles through recreational and competitive sports.

What: 5K run, walk or wheel race, or 1 mile fun run

When: Sunday, September 22, 2019 8:00 am

Where: Tysons Sport & Health 8250 Greensboro Drive, McLean, VA 22102

Why: This event continues to raise much needed funds for the Washington Paralympic Sports Programs and the MedStar NRH Adaptive Sports community-based programs for children and adults with physical disabilities.  They also work with the US Paralympic Military Program which offers adapted sports for our newly injured servicemen and veterans in the community and at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
