We are looking for six to eight volunteers to join APTA staff members at the San Diego Festival of Science and Engineering EXPO Day, Saturday, March 4, 2023 in San Diego, CA at PETCO Park.
The EXPO will take place from 10a – 5p PST; however, volunteers can sign up for the morning or afternoon shift. The morning shift will be from 10a – 2p and the afternoon shift will be from 1p – 5p. I’m looking for at least three to four volunteers per shift.
You will be asked to assist APTA staff at the PT Moves Me Booth and help raise awareness of the profession.
This will be a fun day, APTA will have an interactive booth, and our goal this year is to speak with and interact with as many prospective students (K-12), guardians, and teachers/advisors to tell them about the amazing profession of physical therapy. We are looking for PT/PTA students, PT/PTA faculty, and/or licensed PTs/PTAs.
If you’re able to assist or know of classmates/coworkers/clinicians willing to volunteer please let me know no later than Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
