Volunteer Opportunity Details

October is National Physical Therapy Month, and we want to highlight volunteer stories to celebrate and inspire members! We’re looking for volunteer stories related to using your background as a physical therapist to engage in your community, pro bono work, and more. How has volunteering in your community impacted your life? Your member experience(s)?

Please answer a few questions (under "Apply Today") about your experience(s). We plan to feature one story per week during NPTM. The deadline to submit is August 15.

We're hoping to showcase our community with a mix of diverse member demographics and experience levels.

Please note:

• This opportunity is open to all APTA members.
• Responses may be edited for clarity, style, and space. All published responses will become the copyrighted property of APTA.
• We will publish the author’s full name and title along with the story.
• Submitting a story does not guarantee that it will be published. APTA does not need to provide a reason for failing to feature a submitted response. We will contact you before sharing your submission.
• Please upload at least one photo of yourself related to this activity that we may publish with your story.
