Description:

We are looking for APTA members to share their experiences as potential interview sources for upcoming stories in the 2025 issues of APTA Magazine. If you would be interested in being interviewed on one (or more) of the topics below, please reach out to APTA Magazine Editor Leah Fogarty at aptamag@apta.org. Please allow two to three business days for a reply. Interviews are typically done on the phone or via web conference and usually take around 30 minutes. We may not be able to interview everyone who replies, though we will definitely try!

When sending an email, please note which story topic you are interested in contributing toward and a sentence or two about why your background makes you a good fit. Thank you for considering this ask and for sharing your expertise with fellow members!

  1. Unusual PT Settings: Do you work (or have you worked) in an atypical setting for a PT or PTA? If so, how did you hear about this role and what drew you to it? What are the challenges and benefits of working in this unusual setting?
  2. Adopting New Clinical Products and Processes: Has your organization recently implemented a new clinical product or process? If so, how did you determine the right product/process for your organization? Who was involved in the choosing, testing, and implementing of it? This story will focus on best practices on how to choose and adopt a new product or process and not on the products themselves.
  3. Lessons on Leadership: Even if PTs or PTAs are not in a supervisory role, they can still lead projects, initiatives, and more. We are looking for members to share a specific lesson they have learned on their leadership journey and their advice to PTs and PTAs who may be looking to lead in the future.
  4. Treating Endurance Athletes: Are you a PT or PTA who works with endurance athletes and can speak to the specific challenges of treating this population?
