Description:

APTA is seeking to utilize the services of ORCHA (Organization for the Review of Care and Health Apps) in the creation of a digital health app library available to APTA members. These apps will be reviewed against the USDHAF (US Digital Health Assessment Framework). This framework includes components specific to US on data and privacy, clinical assurance and safety, usability and accessibility, and technical security and stability.

The APTA Digital Health team is looking for up to 10 volunteers from the Academy of Leadership and Innovation to be part of a Work Group that shapes the launch of a digital health technologies app library for APTA members.

Key activities of the Working Group will include:

  • Identify and prioritize initial apps to review
  • Identify parameters to inform digital health technology pipeline review
  • Provide feedback as assessments are completed
  • Provide feedback on initial launch of the app library
  • Help identify success metrics surrounding member use of the app library

Expected length of commitment: We plan to launch the app library at CSM at the end of February and would seek feedback from the Work Group until 1 month post launch.

Thank you for considering this position and thank you for your work on helping clinicians become more digitally enabled.
