Speaker bios:

Kayla Hamm, PT, DPT, is Clinic Director at Myodetox West Hollywood. She was part of the founding team of therapists at the company’s first U.S. location in 2018. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University and earned her DPT from Midwestern University in Arizona. Kayla has extensive experience in treating sports-related injuries, postural impairments, and chronic pain. She enjoys working with avid runners on running performance and injury prevention, and she integrates her performance programming into her work with chronic pain clients. Kayla believes in combining the orthopedic skills necessary for treatment with the psychosocial aspect of pain and behavior that affects so many of her clients. 

 

Shane Yap, PT, DPT, is the Lead Therapist at Myodetox West Hollywood. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland - Baltimore County and earned his DPT from New York Medical College. Shane believes that physical therapy is a fundamental pillar of optimal movement and should be accessible to everyone. Prior to his tenure at Myodetox, he worked with a wide range of individuals in various settings, including with the Association of Tennis Professionals.

 

Vinh Pham, PT, BSc, is Co-founder and Chief Brand Officer of Myodetox, a group of design-forward manual therapy clinics that are reimagining the traditional therapy and rehab experience. He has over a decade’s experience working with industry-leading health and wellness brands and treating top athletes, celebrities, and entrepreneurs. Amassing one of the largest social media followings in the health care space, Vinh posts daily educational videos that show millions of people how to take care of their bodies. Vinh is a graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Canada. 

 
Andrew Sabarre, PT, BSc, is Chief Clinical Officer of Myodetox. In this role, he oversees all clinical aspects of the company’s global business, with the objective of providing the highest-quality therapy experience in the industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of British Columbia, and with over 15 years of experience, he has an extensive track record of consulting for professional, national, club and amateur athletes.
