Description:

The APTA Student Board of Directors seeks student PT and PTA members to run for the offices of President, Vice President, Student Chief Delegate, Student Delegate (a two-year position), Director of SPTA Relations and four Directors. Candidates will be slated in late August and the new Student Board will be elected by APTA student members through electronic ballot in November with terms beginning January 1 – December 31. Explore the position descriptions to learn more about the qualifications and shared responsibilities of this student leadership group. 

The deadline to apply is July 22.

Interested individuals can apply by clicking “Apply Today” to submit a candidate application that includes 6 questions to help us gain a better understanding of who you are as a candidate. The application also contains space for you to craft a candidate statement that describes in 250 words or less why you intend to run for office, what your strengths are, and what you hope to achieve as a member of the Student Board. Candidates should also include an electronic headshot produced on a high-resolution camera and a copy of your resume. 

Candidates will submit a self-nomination as part of this online application process. Additional nominations can be submitted by any current APTA member.
