Description:

We are looking for student volunteers to review content proposals for this year’s National Student Conclave (NSC). NSC is a fun, high-energy conference that demonstrates the value of continued student membership through thought-provoking workshops, interactive learning, networking opportunities, and exposure to established members and leaders of APTA. Volunteers will be asked to review proposals specifically for educational sessions at the conference. All current SPTs and SPTAs are welcome to participate.

Once the submission portal closes on April 3, reviewers will be contacted by APTA staff and assigned a batch of proposals to review and grade based on several criteria. Depending on the final number of submissions, reviewers will be assigned approximately 15- 20 proposals and should allow 5-7 minutes to review each one. Student reviewer feedback heavily influences the final selection of NSC programming, and is critical for gauging the type of sessions students will find most appealing. Volunteering as an NSC 2020 content reviewer is a great opportunity for students who want to play an important role in ensuring this year’s conference provides the most valuable programming to DPT and PTA students.

Volunteers will be provided with specific instructions by APTA staff after the April 3 submission deadline. Thanks in advance to everyone who is able to donate their time, and we hope to see you November 5-7 in Austin!
