Description:

The Paralyzed Veterans of America is an organization that provides resources for their members who are veterans of the armed forces who have experienced spinal cord injury or dysfunction. APTA has an opportunity for a physical therapist member to represent APTA on the Paralyzed Veterans of America Consortium of Spinal Cord Injury Medicine Steering Committee. The PVA develops clinical practice guidelines in areas relevant to spinal cord injury: https://pva.org/research-resources/publications/clinical-practice-guidelines/ 

Applicants must have clinical experience in the PT management of individuals with spinal cord injury or dysfunction and experience in clinical practice guideline development. There are approximately 4 virtual meetings per year and 1 in person meeting in Washington, DC.
