Description:

The Network of Catherine Worthingham Fellows is seeking a chair and co-chair to serve one-year and two-year terms, respectively. By applying for this opportunity you are volunteering to serve in either the chair or co-chair positions.

The Network of Catherine Worthingham Fellows (CWFs) is a community for Catherine Worthingham Fellows of the American Physical Therapy Association. The network is seeking a chair for a one-year term and leads a steering group of five other CWFs. 
 
Requirements as Chair:
• Must be a Catherine Worthingham Fellow of APTA
• Must be an APTA member in good standing
 
Responsibilities: 
• Facilitate network meetings 
• Lead efforts to foster network member driven communication and networking
• Partner with the Board liaison and the APTA staff liaison to the network to provide regular updates to the APTA Board
 

All APTA appointed groups will conduct their work with the American Physical Therapy Association’s Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in mind and the context of (1) APTA's Mission, Vision, Strategic Plan and House of Delegates and Board of Directors adopted positions and policies; and (2) the potential for their work to have implications related to physical therapist assistants, women, diversity, and risk management.

Experience Required:

4 to 6 years volunteer experience
