Volunteer Opportunity Details

Current APTA Geriatrics member able to participate by email and zoom meetings for the 8 months leading up to the July House of Delegates and November House of Delegates elections. Recommend dedication of a weekly block of time to prepare for discussion with delegation, with zoom meetings 1-2 times a month, meeting more often before July 20, less through November. Estimated time commitment of an average of 1-2 hrs/wk. Interest in Geriatrics and APTA recommended. Virtual and On-site participation at the House of Delegates are NOT INCLUDED. (Participation in Virtual and/or On-site House would only be anticipated if one of the delegates cannot attend). This is a great way to participate with APTA Geriatrics leadership, understand APTA and how we can impact our future profession.
