The Global Health for Aging Adults (GHAA) Special Interest Group (SIG) of APTA Geriatrics facilitates a SIG Newsletter. The Newsletter was launched October of 2021. The Newsletter will be disseminated electronically to GHAA members on a quarterly basis. The Newsletter provides an opportunity for the GHAA SIG to highlight content that supports the purpose of the SIG which is to increase awareness of the practice of geriatric physical therapy across the globe, advance geriatric PT practice globally, encourage international clinician and student activities, and facilitate global partnerships. Our SIG is dedicated to enhancing health and well-being of older adults through networking and collaboration among geriatric PTs and researchers of various countries. Content can be in the form of a member story, report of activities occurring in the US that support international collaboration, review of international publications, etc.
