During the
HOSA International Leadership Conference in Nashville, TN,
Health Professions Week will host two
Guess Who? Panel sessions. Each panel will last approximately 45-60 minutes. We are seeking
two volunteers (one for each session) to represent the profession of physical therapy
You will be given approximately one minute to introduce yourself and provide a brief overview of the profession of physical therapy, without revealing the profession. After each panelist has had an opportunity to introduce themselves, the MC will ask the audience to chime in with "guesses" as to which panelist represents which profession. Then you'll be asked to "reveal" your profession (PT) to the audience and will then have an opportunity to share key highlights about the profession and why prospective students should consider it as a career path.
This will be a fun and informative session for HOSA participants (middle school, high school, college students and HOSA advisors) and a great way to encourage those to consider the career in physical therapy.
