Description:

Position: APTA Acute Care - Online Virtual Product Committee Chair
Term: Two years and is appointed by the APTA Acute Care Board of Directors
Charge: To produce monthly webinars and two Learning Center Courses, annually

Expectations

Awareness of education platform opportunities – where is market in online education
Awareness of education principals of online education
Oversee and mentor people to present online education in a variety of formats, i.e., webinars and CEU level course development/knowledge of learning center
Planning for a diverse offering of courses and a minimum number of courses
Ability to commit for a two-year term
Identify committee members to support all project with the online virtual product chair
Oversee committee members who support online education

Qualifications

Experience in development and performance of online educational methods
Awareness of education platform capabilities
Sensitive to timelines and ability to manage groups on timeline
Collaborative for idea generation and course development

Time commitment for this position: on average, 1-2 hours per week

Time commitment per webinar and course will vary spending on the role served. Tasks will be shared by multiple people.
