MA Chapter: Public Policy PT Day on the Hill Spring 2020

Engaging Massachusetts' Legislators in discussion regarding Physical Therapy in our State

Description
Various opportunities for involvement:
1. Pre-planning - brainstorm ideas for Hall set up, and table displays; recruitment of attendees to 'man' tables, and/or to meet with Legislators; become familiar with the PT Day on the Hill process
2. Day of - Attend PT Day on the Hill (if able) - being available ~930-2 for set up, and assistance throughout the time frame, 'man' a table, be available for questions; help direct volunteers and/or Legislators
3. Post-Day on the Hill - participate in "what went well/ what can we do better/plans for next year" discussion

Responsibilities
Participate in Virtual meetings to accomplish the Pre Planning
Recruitment of volunteers to 'man' tables
Become familiar with the current Legislative issues impacting Physical Therapy

Requirements
None - no prior knowledge is necessary, and no prior Legislative experience is necessary
